Q Are your fish available to everyone ?
A Private syndicates, collectors and general venue owners are all welcome but there are restrictions. When approached by a new client we insist on carrying out a site visit in order to satisfy ourselves that the lake is in good condition and capable of supporting the fish. This is for everyone's benefit as there would be little point in the client spending money on stock that is either unsuitable or at risk from the lake itself. From our point of view we also have our guarantees to protect.

If one of our fish die of natural causes during the first 12 months we will replace it free of all additional cost. This offer has no strings or argument. If an independent autopsy confirms the above we will act quickly and without fuss to make sure the fish is replaced. No other company comes close to offering this kind of guarantee so we have to be sure that the habitat is ideal.

Q How and when are the fish paid for ?
A There are a variety of ways that you can purchase our stock from buying outright to share purchase, it depends on your own finances. We will, on occasions, loan fish to a new venue. This has several advantages for both parties.

Firstly it helps reduce the capital outlay for the purchaser thus enabling the option of acquiring fish of much greater size and value than would otherwise, perhaps, be financially possible. Secondly, it helps us. We do not like having too many fish in any one area as spreading them around the country helps reduce the risk of loss due to localised disease outbreaks. Syndicates find this option particularly useful as the larger fish obviously attract higher membership fees etc. Each loan arrangement is tailored to suit the individual requirements of all parties and can incorporate future fingerlings, partial ownership etc. If an outright sale is agreed you will pay a small deposit prior to delivery. Once on site you can have the fish independently weighed and physically checked if you wish before making the final payment. We will listen to any proposal but it is fair to say that we reject far more prospective sales than we actually agree to supply and, for some species, there is a waiting list. Q Are all your fish British ?
A Most definitely. We do not entertain imports of any kind with the exception of Catfish for our breeding stock only. All fish are documented, micro-tagged and photographed with a full history.

Q Can smaller fish be purchased from the same gene pools as larger stock?
A Fish from specimen backgrounds suitable for rearing are often the best way to establish a top class venue and although it takes time for the fish to achieve their full potential it is a much cheaper way of acquiring top quality stock. We can assist with all aspects of rearing in order to maximise growth and we operate a management program that will even text or e-mail you before 7am every day with instructions tailored to your lake and weather conditions. Heavy, well muscled fish that carry genuine weights are our sole objective. Fat ' boilie buckets ' are of no use to anyone and in our view should not be classed as records or specimen fish, neither should imports that have no right to be on our British records list.

Q Do you take care of transport & paperwork ?
A We take care of everything including section 30 documentation etc.
Is theft a problem ?
There will always be those who attempt to steal fish. We do our best to prevent this via internal micro-tags plus the important fact that our fish are not hand reared and are extremely difficult to catch. Our advanced Sonar tag identification mounted on our vehicles can usually locate the fish if there is suspicion with regards to its destination making them extremely difficult to hide. We can also advise on general security including proximity sensors , CCTV and predator control.
